Frequently Asked Questions
The general rule of thumb is you can never call too early. It is best to have your projects booked well before you want them to be completed. Call soon to guarantee a spot. When the work parameters are understood, we will provide you an approximate timeline for the project.
We do it all. From brand new developments to yard makeovers, we enjoy the diversity of all our projects. We'll arrange a meeting - online or in person, to discuss the details and cost of your project. We bring our wide range of talent in our services to answer the needs of our clients.
We always do our best to satisfy our customers wishes even if they have a change of heart. If the changes can be made easily, we will do our best to enact them at little to no cost. That said, large changes will impact the scope, schedule, and budget surrounding any project. These factors must be taken into account and may result in changes to the final price and completion date. We will give you an update on cost before we proceed with additional work.

All quotes and estimates for a project are completely free. You can contact us by phone, email, or use the contact form to set up an appointment for a 30 minute complementary consultation. If you can provide photos, this will help give us a better idea of your project and help us decide if the shoe fits between us. The second step is to visit your property and evaluate your garden and landscape needs. After this, we will email you with a written estimate with the scope of work and price.
Every contractor prices jobs differently. We take care in our quotation process, and don't compare another contractor with our estimates. If you have a price from another contractor, we will review it to see the project scope but we will not match or beat the quote. We will give you our quote and guarantee that the job will be done to full satisfaction by all parties involved.
This question is common in our industry. Our straight answer is NO. People often feel they are getting a great deal when they pay cash, but they are in fact opening themselves up to a huge amount of risk, not just from the government, but from bad work from companies who do allow this. If things go wrong, the contractor can deny the transaction, and the customer may have little to no recourse. Aside from doing our part to pay our fair share to the CRA, we stand behind everything we build and maintain. Everything is done above board and we want to be held to account for our work.
Many may assume springtime is the ideal season for landscaping installations, but for plantings like trees, shrubs and grass, fall is the best time because of the warm days and cool evenings and the increased precipitation that assists in the plant's growth. With fall plantings, you’ll have six to eight months to get roots established before the warmer months. Weeds are less frequent and the soil temperature is still warm. However, for perennial and annual flowers, springtime is the best time for planting.
